Immediately after your treatment, it's important to take certain steps to enhance the positive effects and support your body's natural healing processes.

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins released during the session. Water is essential for rehydration and wellbeing.

Rest and Relax: Allow your body and mind to remain in a relaxed state. Avoid strenuous activities or intense exercise for the rest of the day. A gentle walk or quiet evening is ideal.

Eat Lightly: Choose a light, healthy meal to help your body focus on healing and detoxification.

Avoid Stimulants: For 12-24 hours, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine, as these can dehydrate you and counteract the treatment's benefits.

Specific Advice for Aromatherapy Massage

If you've enjoyed an Aromatherapy massage, please take extra care with these post-treatment steps:

Let the Oils Work: Avoid showering or bathing for at least 8 hours to allow the essential oils to be fully absorbed.

Sun Sensitivity: Avoid direct sun exposure or sunbeds for 24 hours if photosensitive oils were used.

Oils and Your Clothes: Wear comfortable, older clothing that you don't mind getting a little oil on.

The frequency of your therapy sessions is entirely at your discretion. Many of my clients enjoy the regular routine of a monthly massage.

With Reflexology, clients have reported significant benefit when booking weekly sessions for 6 sessions, then switching to monthly maintenance visits.
